Parent-teacher meetings
Thursday, Jan. 31, 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., parent-teacher meetings at Inuksuk High School.
Dance club
Mondays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Catholic Parish Hall, a new season of the Iqaluit Social Dance Club. Lessons on Mondays, practice sessions on Thursdays. Call Belinda at 979-3056 or Bob at 979-7902.
Basketball tournament
Feb. 23 and 24 at Inuksuk High School. Five-on-five basketball tournament. Cost $15 a player, minimum five players per team. Each team picks own players, must be 16 or older. Registration deadline is Feb. 15. Call Jeff Kheraj at 975-7263 or Ian Rumbolt at 979-0862.
Climate change exhibit
Saturday Dec. 15, until Feb. 24 at the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum, Arctic: A Friend Acting Strangely, a travelling exhibition from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Call 979-5537.
