"They paved the roads here in the past years, so guys are starting to ride more bikes," Thomas said. At the event, sponsored by Canadian North and MotorCyco Beaus, organizers sold tee-shirts for a chance to win a round-trip ticket to Ottawa. They also held a 50-50 draw in which all proceeds went to Habitat for Humanity Iqaluit. "We do what we can, every bit helps," Thomas said, adding they may hold another Show 'N' Shine event in September. (PHOTO BY DAVID MURPHY)
