NUNATSIAQ NEWS
Hockey dreams come true: students at Whale Cove's Inuglak School, along with teacher and coach Andy Mcfarlane, have raised more than $20,000 to take a trip to northern Ontario in March for their first ever southern hockey tournament. Here are some of the players who might make the Inuglak Whalers team when tryouts are held in January 2014. Back row, from left: Adam Nattar, David Uklaagak, Joe Panika, Tyson Panika, Hugh Enuapik. Front row, from left: Steven Panika, Stanley Jr. Adjuk, John Voisey, Demitre Alikashuak. Inclusion on the team will be based first on fulfilling academic, behaviour and attendance requirements and then merit after that. Read about the team later on nunatsiaqonline.ca.
