Photo: Stranded Arctic Bay hunters make it back on land

NUNATSIAQ NEWS
A group of seven Arctic Bay hunters who were stranded on an ice floe in Admiralty Inlet since July 14 have made it back to their community safely. One of the hunters, Tom Naqitarvik, snapped this photo of the group's July 16 trip home, which involved pulling their 12-foot boat across a kilometre of sea ice before the group hit open water and sailed about 30 miles back towards land.
