Learning traditional skills in a modern place: Paatsaali School students in Sanikiluaq watch as community members clean and prepare a polar bear skin March 17 thanks to local hunter Lucassie Ippak. Students and staff trap foxes and skin them for educational purposes sometimes but in the case of a polar bear, hunters are invited to bring the skin in for preparation to show students how it's done.
