Dave Gunning, a well-known musician from Nova Scotia, performs in Iqaluit Sept. 8. The 130 people who gathered in Nakasuk School stomped their feet and clapped their hands to Gunning, who sang “Celtic country” tunes and folk songs. Local band The Trade Offs (formerly the JJ’s) opened for Gunning, who made the audience laugh with tales of his past.
