Simeonie Berthe (with his hand up) and Etua Watkins, to his right, received a warm welcome home from family and friends at the Kuujjuaq airport March 13. Berthe and Watkins rode in this year's Cain's Quest, a snowmobile endurance race that winds through more than 3,000 kilometres of Labrador's wilderness. The Kuujjuaq pair had their eyes on first place, but after being issued an eight-hour penalty for using an off-limits trail system, the team ended in 5th place overall. (PHOTO BY ISABELLE DUBOIS)
