Directors from the Kativik Regional Government's Renewable Resources, Environment, Lands and Parks Department address the Arctic Council`s Conservation of the Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) working group in Kuujjuaq Feb. 11. CAFF, which meets twice a year, is in Kuujjuaq to discuss the Arctic Biodiversity Assessment, a report outlining the most current scientific research and traditional ecological knowledge on the status of Arctic biodiversity, along with policy recommendations for biodiversity conservation.
