Adine Sandy, a student at the Kivalliq campus of Nunavut Arctic College, receives the Governor General Award from Paul Quassa, the minister responsible for Nunavut Arctic College, at the NAC's graduation ceremony May 13 in Rankin Inlet. The award is presented annually for academic excellence to the student who has achieved the highest academic standing in a post-secondary, diploma level program.
