A huge gouge in the tundra that a reckless ATV owner left inside Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park. Nunavut Parks issued a warning to ATV drivers July 23, reminding them they must observe posted speed limits and drive only on designated roads within the park. People who break those rules could be guilty of breaching Iqaluit bylaw number 557. “The marsh next to one of the park roads has been significantly damaged during the past few weeks,” Nunavut Parks said in the announcement.
