Flags flew at half-mast in Nunavut June 10, including here at the Iqaluit RCMP detachment, for the funeral of three fallen New Brunswick RCMP officers: constables Fabrice Georges Gevaudan, 45, Douglas James Larche, 40, and Dave Joseph Ross, 32. The three officers died after a shootout with a Moncton man who now faces three charges of first-degree murder, as well as two counts of attempted murder. Nunavut department of corrections laid a wreath at the foot of an Inukshuk at the detachment and left a note attached.
