NUNATSIAQ NEWS
Get 'em while they’re burning hot. Outcrop Nunavut designer Will Hopkins holds up a #dumpcano T-shirt now on sale at Outcrop’s store, located across the street from the post office in Iqaluit. There are two colours to choose from — grey/black or white/red — and each shirt costs $30. Of that, $10 will go to the Iqaluit Firefighters Association. “We thought it would be a fun thing in support of the firefighters to come up with a fun design that maybe we could get the town around,” Hopkins said. Outcrop only started selling the shirt June 12, but are already sold out of extra small, extra large, and double extra large. (PHOTO BY DAVID MURPHY)
