Artist Cory Trepanier’s, film, Into the Arctic II, will be shown at the Astro Theatre in Iqaluit, on Nov. 23 and 24, as part of Parks Canada’s 100th anniversary celebrations. The Nov. 24 showing at 5 p.m. is open to the public and tickets are free. The artist will be in attendance to introduce his film and answer questions. Trepanier spent three months in the eastern, central, and high Arctic, exploring places like Mount Thor and the Wilberforce Falls and documenting what he saw with oil paint and film.
