Children of former Arviat mayor and educator, the late Mark Kalluak, place foundational rocks on the steps of the Atuqtuarvik Corp. offices in Rankin Inlet, May 19, as part of a building dedication ceremony. Vice-chair of the Atuqtuarvik Corp., Jimmy Akavak, said any namesake for the new building would have to demonstrate integrity, adaptability and passion—traits that Kalluak celebrated during his life.
