Having fun with literacy and learning: children make art, play games and read May 2 at the May Hakongak Community Library and Cultural Centre in Cambridge Bay. The centre, located in in the same building as the Kiilinik High School, features a high-ceilinged and welcoming environment for people of all ages in the western Nunavut community of 1,500 including after school programs and toys for tots.
