NUNATSIAQ NEWS
A couple dozen Cambridge Bay residents grabbed a free T-shirt, some gloves and garbage bags, sprayed themselves with mosquito repellent and fanned out across the community July 16 to clean up a winter's worth of garbage and debris. All volunteers were eligible to enter a draw to win two tickets to anywhere Canadian North flies. Here are a few who came out to help, from left: Kyla Komaksiut, Eva Mingilgak, Jeannie Komaksiut and Wayne Gregory. (PHOTO BY KELCEY WRIGHT)
