Photo: Artcirq set to perform at Northern Scene festival in Ottawa

Nunavut circus troupe Artcirq will perform at the 10-day “Northern Scene” festival in Ottawa, which takes place April 25 to May 4, the National Arts Centre announced Feb. 25. Other performers include, from Nunavut, singer and vocal artist Tanya Tagaq, throatboxer Nelson Tagoona from Baker Lake, artist Shuvinai Ashoona and alt-rocker Lucie Idlout, and, from Nunavik, singer-songwriter Elisapie and poet and spoken word artist Taqralik Partridge.
