Rex Willie, left, an adult education instructor at Nunavut Arctic College's Arctic Bay campus, was named one of three Outstanding Adult Educators at the closing ceremony for the Northern Adult Basic Education Symposium in Whitehorse May 1. The first ever symposium of its kind, held April 29 to May 1 at Yukon College, brought together 242 adult education practitioners from across the three northern territories to share new ideas, research and best practices.
