Mamisarvik helps woman make life transition

"I am a much happier human being"

Mamisarvik [Healing Centre, a residential treatment centre in Ottawa] had made tremendous improvement since I attended when it first started.

I am grateful to be part of the newer structured treatment. It is effective, gentle, deep and the workers have focused on great qualities such as:

• how to detach from others who had harmed you, who made you who you are not;

• how to focus on your parts and work through them without hand-outs along with specialized workers;

• how to develop new skills to cope with changes, and more.

I am satisfied with the concepts that I am able to listen better, talk better, share better and make reasonable decisions for myself. I am a much happier human being.

At last, I am my own person choosing and making choices in the best of my abilities and it doesn’t stop here, what I was doing on my own. “You don’t know until you try it.”
