Junior Ranger Sarah Manik spent several days with a net over her head to avoid the millions of moquitoes that she and 77 other junior rangers and cadets encountered on the recently completed Nunavik 2000 Expedition, a gruelling 21-day 500-kilometre canoe trip that took participants from Umiujaq to Tasiujaq.
